The University of Maryland Center of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation (M-CERSI) Postdoctoral Fellows in Regulatory Science Program is sponsored by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). M-CERSI focuses on modernizing and improving the ways drugs and medical devices are reviewed and evaluated. The center is a collaborative partnership between the University of Maryland, College Park, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore. The mission of the center is to foster the development of regulatory science — the science of developing new tools, standards, and approaches to assess the safety, efficacy, quality, and performance of FDA-regulated products.
This is a solicitation of funds for the M-CERSI Postdoctoral Fellows in Regulatory Science Program. The objective of the program is to train the next generation of regulatory scientists. Regulatory science is the science of developing new tools, standards, and approaches to assess the safety, efficacy, quality, and performance of FDA-regulated products.
