Maintenance Administration

Welcome to the Maintenance Administration team of the O&M department at UMB. We are a team of dedicated professionals who work behind the scenes to ensure the smooth functioning of the UMB campus. Our responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent customer service to the UMB campus community by responding to user requests, resolving issues, and following up on feedback.
  • Maintaining the quality and safety of all physical spaces on campus by conducting regular inspections, audits, and preventive maintenance.
  • Assisting technicians and shop managers with work management and performance evaluation by logging their work hours, tracking work orders, and generating custom reports to monitor and improve their productivity, efficiency, and quality.
  • Overseeing the billing process and ensuring accuracy and transparency by verifying invoices, reconciling accounts, and communicating with customers and vendors.
  • Supporting the onboarding and training of new technicians and managers by providing them with the necessary devices and tools, such as laptops, tablets, phones, software, and manuals.
  • Coordinating with other teams and departments within the O&M division and the UMB administration to ensure alignment and collaboration.
