Receive or Replace Parking Access Cards or Hang Tag

Purpose

A request to replace or receive new hang tag, access card, or one card.

Applicability

Faculty, staff, and students at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) are provided with parking identification such as a parking hang tag, access card, or UMB one card during employment which if lost, damaged, or stolen will need to be replaced.

Instructions

Replace hang tag

  1. Employees, staff, and students must go to the Cashier’s Office at SMC Campus Center, Lower Level, Room 002 for a replacement.
  2. Be prepared to show University ID or any government issued identification.
  3. A replacement fee is required.
    1. If Stolen or damaged the fee may be waived:
      1. For a stolen hang tag please provide a police report number.
      2. For damaged hang tag please surrender the remaining damaged hang tag.

 

Replace Access Card

  1. Employee must go to the cashier office at SMC Campus Center, Lower Level, Room 002 for a replacement.
  2. You need to show your University ID.
  3. A replacement fee is required.

New One Card

  1. Once new One Card has been issued, the employee, staff, or student must go the Parking Cashier Office, Lower Level, Room 002.
  2. The cashier will then program the One Card depending on their status and needs, so the parker will have access to appropriate UMB garages.
