Because coming into a medical complex/university as large as ours can sometimes be confusing, we have Guest Relations staff available within the medical center to assist you. These specially trained staff members are dedicated to ensuring that you reach your destination quickly and easily.

Parking at the Plaza Garage
Greeters stop all drivers entering the Plaza Garage to ensure that they are patients or transporters and to find out if they need any assistance getting to the hospital after they are parked.
Discounted Parking
Patients/patient transporters should take their parking tickets with them to get a discounted voucher. Parking vouchers can be obtained at the main lobby information desk, physicians offices in the Professional Building, and on some hospital units.
C.A.R. Program
A Car Aid and Rescue (CAR.) program provides traditional stranded motorist services such as lockout, dead battery, and help changing flat tires. Directional sheets for the major highways are provided upon request from the cashier.

Valet Parking
To make parking as easy as possible, the hospital offers valet parking services. Simply pull right up to the main entrance of the medical center, and they will take it from there. There is a fee for this service.
On-Campus Transportation
If you need assistance getting from building to building on the UMMC campus, one of the Guest Relations staff members within the medical center can drive you in a shuttle van to your destination.
