Nneka Rimmer, JD, MBA, senior VP, McCormick & Co.

Nneka RimmerNneka Rimmer is senior vice president of business transformation at McCormick and Co., a global leader in flavor, seasonings, and spices.


Ms. Rimmer is one of six executive officers, and reports to the CEO. She leads McCormick’s Global Shared Service, Global Information Technology, Change Management, and Business Transformation Teams. She is tasked with leading multiple global transformation efforts to achieve the McCormick of the Future vision, including the establishment of a new global function and the design and installation of a new business process management software. Ms. Rimmer joined McCormick in March 2015 and is a member of the Management Committee. Previously, Ms. Rimmer was a partner and managing director with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a premier strategy consulting firm. In 2008, Ms. Rimmer was elected as the first African-American female partner in the 50-year history of BCG. In her 13 years with BCG, Ms. Rimmer served as an advisor to senior executives (CEOs, EVPs, and C-suite executive teams). Her areas of strategic expertise included trade, competition, international growth, go-to-market, as well as organizational development. Ms. Rimmer has been recognized as one of the Top Influential Women and African-Americans in Corporate America by Savoy Magazine (2012, 2016, and 2018). She recently was named one of The Network Journal’s 25 Influential Black Women in Business. She currently sits on the boards of the UMB Foundation, KIPP Baltimore, and Energizer Holdings. Ms. Rimmer has a BS in chemical engineering from Stanford University, an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and a JD from Northwestern University School of Law.
