Steve Conly is the vice president and general manager for the global microbiology business at BD Life Sciences - Diagnostic Systems. Mr. Conly joined BD in 2010 following BD’s acquisition of Dynacon’s lab automation business, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario.

Mr. Conly held roles of increasing responsibility at Dynacon, eventually leading the global sales and marketing departments at the time of acquisition. Following the acquisition he moved to Baltimore, taking on a variety of responsibilities throughout his years with BD including strategic marketing, business development, commercial leadership, and business leadership. Following BD’s acquisition of Kiestra Lab Automation in 2012, Mr. Conly relocated to the Netherlands for three  years to lead the BD lab automation platform, before returning to Baltimore in 2015 to lead the microbiology business. Mr. Conly earned his undergraduate degree from McGill University in Montreal where he majored in biomedical sciences and economics.
