UMB has received over $7 million in Maryland E-Nnovation Initiative grants, designed to support research and innovation. These funds help UMB recruit top faculty and accelerate research in areas such as cancer, vaccine development, and regenerative medicine. The initiative promotes economic development by fostering competitive research programs and enhancing UMB's leadership in scientific discovery.
