The University of Maryland School of Social Work now offers in-state tuition rates to Washington, D.C., residents enrolled in its Master of Social Work (MSW) program. This initiative reduces the per-credit cost for D.C. students from $1,307 to $676, a 48 percent decrease, making the program more accessible and affordable.
