The Center for Information Technology Services (CITS) uses the following Student Information Management Systems (SIMS) to meet the needs of students, faculty and staff at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB).

The Student Information Management Systems (SIMS) at UMB address the needs of recruitment and admissions, registration, financial aid, educational technology, student accounts, academic advisement, academic history and graduation. These elements represent some of the core functions of our student information systems and provide schools and administrative offices with the ability to manage student data. Direct access to this information supports improved decision-making in areas such as admissions, enrollment management and student support.
