Quantum Human Capital Management (QHCM) User Fair Update!

The QHCM Project User Fair, held on November 11, at the SMC Campus Center, was an event for all UMB employees to drop in and learn more about the new HR and Payroll system, Quantum HCM. The QHCM project team was excited to see that nearly 400 attendees from all schools and central offices across campus participated. The event created campus awareness, gauged employees' understanding and readiness, and promoted the end-user training rollout.

The QHCM project team experts from Huron consulting and UMB provided detailed knowledge in 13 content areas, providing handouts, hosting in-system demonstrations, and previewing microlearning videos. Attendees shared that the most helpful information included Timekeeping and Reporting. Project team members received feedback, answered questions, provided support materials, and conducted an exit survey to gather valuable insights into campus readiness and awareness of the upcoming change.

Engaging and interactive activities included giveaway prizes donated by local community vendors such as the Marriott Waterfront Hotel, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and several from Lexington Market. Attendees also spun the prize wheel and walked away with QHCM project swag.

There will be more opportunities to share and learn about the new Human Resources and Payroll system. Keep watching this section of Bits & Bytes and The Elm for announcements.
