Dear UMB Community,

 

You may have seen that Gov. Larry Hogan announced an incentive program for state employees to get vaccinated against the coronavirus. Unfortunately, employees of the University System of Maryland (USM) are not eligible for the $100 payment due to the USM mandate for vaccination.

 

As a reminder, USM has required that all eligible students, faculty, and staff who will be on our campus this fall be vaccinated against COVID-19. USM will comply with all federal and state laws in granting appropriate exemptions for medical or religious reasons.

 

The UMB COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic at the SMC Campus Center has received approval to vaccinate anyone 16 or older regardless of whether they live, work, or learn in Baltimore City.
