Kerri Evans, Ph.D., LCSW, is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Dr. Evans' research stems from her social work experience at the intersection of immigration and child welfare. Using community partnerships, Dr. Evans works to answer service providers' questions to improve service delivery and make policy recommendations related to unaccompanied and refugee children's well-being and school welcome for immigrant students.
