Effective October 11, 2023 - International Operations recommends against all travel to Israel and Lebanon and against non-essential travel to Egypt and Jordan. Travel to other regional destinations in the Gulf and North Africa may proceed; we recommend that travelers consult with International Operations prior to departure for an update on security conditions at their destination country. These are precautionary measures due to the potential for a worsening regional security situation following the October 7 attack on Israeli targets by Hamas militants.
