Join us for our next Hot Topics event, "A Conversation with Dr. Kathleen Neuzil, Director of the NIH Fogarty International Center." An internationally recognized researcher with a strong global health background, Dr. Neuzil joined Fogarty in May 2024. Her research has been instrumental in implementing vaccines against the most common causes of disability and death in populations around the world, including influenza, rotovirus, human papillomavirus, Japanese encephalitis, typhoid, and COVID-19.

Before joining Fogarty, Dr. Neuzil served as the Dr. Myron M. Levin Professor in Vaccinology, professor of medicine and pediatrics, and director of the Center for Vaccine Development and Global Health (CVD) at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
