Cindy Rivers has worked at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland for nearly 40 years. She began her career as an event planner for the annual Shock Trauma Gala before transferring into the role of Public Information Officer. Today, Cindy manage all observers, including EMS students/clinicians, physicians, nursing students, residents, and international medical observers. She also organizes tours and serves as the liaison should any EMS/law enforcement personnel be injured either on or off duty.
