Dr. Ribeiro holds a degree in Medical Sciences from PUC de SOROCABA (1992), a Master's degree (1997) and a Doctorate (2000) in Operative Technique and Experimental Surgery from the Federal University of São Paulo (2000). Full Professor at the University of Santo Amaro (2015). Academic experience: Professor of General Surgery and Trauma at the Department of Surgery of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo PUCSP-Sorocaba, Associate Professor of Surgery at the United Arab Emirates University - Al Ain UAE. Former Professor of Surgery and Coordinator of the Emergency Internship at the Faculdade de Ciências Médicas de São José dos Campos - Humanitas, and former Collaborating Physician of the Liver Surgery and Portal Hypertension Service at University of Sao Paulo - HC FMUSP, Former Professor of Surgical Skills (Operative Technique and Experimental Surgery) at the Universidade Cidade de São Paulo - UNICID and former Full Professor, Head of the Department of Surgery - Discipline of Genral Surgery and Trauma and former Dean of the Medical School at the Universidade Santo Amaro - UNISA. He was the Supervisor of the General Surgery and Video-Laparoscopic Medical Residency Program at UNISA between 2009-2019. Supervisor of the Trauma Surgery Residency Program at the Hospital Geral do Grajau from 2013-2018. Advisor of the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program in Health Sciences at the Institute of Medical Assistance to State Public Servants (IAMSPE) since 2010.
