Fernanda Marques is a surgery resident from São Paulo, Brazil. She graduated in Medicine four years ago from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo.

Currently, she is in the third and final year of the General Surgery Residency Program at the same university hospital. Through her work there, she has become interested in the ER and trauma surgeries.

Through the Shock Trauma Global Surgery Scholar Program, she is excited to gain experience with new technologies, learn from renowned surgeons, and enhance her skills through real-life observation and practice in the labs.
