Giada Panagini is from Milan, Italy and attended medical school in Florence before starting residency in General Surgery in Milan. Currently, she is attending her last year as a resident at the Trauma Team unit at Niguarda Hospital. Giada is specifically interested in Emergency Surgery and Trauma Surgery and has attended many training courses on those topics. She hopes to improve her theoretical skills about the organization and clinical activities of trauma centers through the Shock Trauma Global Surgery Scholar Program.
