Toni San Miguel has been awarded a 2020 Benjamin H. Kean Travel Fellowship in Tropical Medicine from the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. Working with Nadia Sam-Agudu, MD, Institute for Human Virology at University of Maryland School of Medicine, Toni plans to work on a short term experience in global health in Nigeria. The travel fellowship provides funding for a direct round-trip ticket, a $1,000 travel allowance and registration to the ASTMH Annual Meeting.
