Don't miss the panel on Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA) Identity at UMB April 22 at 1:30 p.m.

Did you know that SWANA as a racial and/or ethnic identity is not counted by the U.S. census? This means that there is little to no census data to highlight the particular experiences and needs of SWANA community members.

In this session, you'll be able to learn from and connect with a panel of SWANA students, staff, and faculty as they reflect on their SWANA identity and share their lived experiences at UMB and more broadly in the U.S.
