"Urukundo Today: Love, Education, a Hope Made Real" with Founder Arlene Brown

The University of Maryland School of Dentistry and its Global Health Student Association have partnered to host a lecture Nov. 17 from 5-6 p.m. with Arlene Brown, founder of the Urukundo Learning Center in Muhunga, Rwanda.

Brown, a renowned expert in global child health, will discuss topics including the Urukundo Learning Center's health care and educational model, cultural approaches to traditional medicine, and the center's work expanding children's access to oral health care.

"Urukundo Today: Love, Education, A Hope Made Real" will be held both in person and via Webex. Space for the in-person event is limited. RSVP to reserve your in-person spot or RSVP to attend virtually.
