The Alicia and Yaya Initiative in Global Aging Research is accepting applications for its Fellowship Program to Costa Rica through Jan. 15. All current UMB or University of Costa Rica faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students are eligible to apply.

Fellows conduct research in an individualized program related to aging at the partner institution on any element of aging, such as biomedical research, community interventions, legal issues, clinical care, and nutrition. A stipend covers living expenses, lodging, and travel. Alicia and Yaya staff can help design projects for Fellows, so reach out if interested.
