Jill Morgan, PharmD, BCPS, BCPPS, is an associate professor and chair for the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science.

Morgan completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Illinois-Chicago and completed pharmacy practice and pediatric pharmacy specialty residencies at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. She is a pediatric clinical pharmacy specialist and the director of the PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in Pediatrics. Her practice sites include the the Pediatric GI Subspecialty Clinic and the Pediatric Surgery Clinic at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. For many years, she has been teaching pharmacotherapy to nursing and pharmacy students as well as medical residents and performed research in a variety of areas related to pediatrics.  

Morgan has been involved with a number of committees and student and professional organizations. She has served on the Diversity Advisory Council since its inception by President Perman. On this committee, she helped to draft the first set of bylaws for the committee and currently serves on the website and communication subcommittee. Also, she served as the chair for the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Student Services SIG in 2012, AACP delegate, the president for the Maryland Society of Health System Pharmacists (MSHP), the chair for the Maryland Pharmacy Coalition (MPC), and the research committee for Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group (PPAG).

She is the advisor for the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy Phi Lambda Sigma Chapter, Students Promoting Awareness (SPA), and the Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group at UMB (PPAG at UMB). In March 2014, Morgan received the University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Faculty Award in mentoring. Morgan also received the Maryland Pharmacists Association's Mentor of the Year Award in 2013 as well as the school's Faculty Member of the Year Award presented by the Classes of 2010, 2011, and 2013.
