Southwest Partnership Anchor Institution Community Referral Program

UMB, University of Maryland Medical Center

The Southwest Partnership's Workforce Roundtable offers a referral program giving qualified residents from certain Baltimore ZIP codes priority when applying for jobs at local institutions.

UMB Workforce Initiatives Information

We host info sessions where UMB and UMMC staff explain job openings, how to apply, what they look for in hires, and provide details on free training programs for careers like IT and community health support.

We help job seekers with one-on-one guidance on local job resources, résumé writing, and applications, with support from a Southwest Works representative and UMB Human Resources volunteers.
