With the recent masking changes issued to the UMB community, we would like to update you on resumption of UMB research. In the current climate, all research efforts involving human subjects may be renewed with the understanding that any local restrictions or requirements must be respected and adhered to. In terms of documentation:

• Submission of COVID Risk Statement and resumption checklists with CICERO transactions are no longer required. 
• Use of the COVID Risk Statement during the consent process is no longer required. 
•  Submission of an RNI for research resumption at this stage is also  not required.
