UMB was first accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education in 1921.  At its session on June 23, 2016 the Middle States Commission on Higher Education acted to reaffirm accreditation and to commend UMB for the quality of the 2016 self-study process and report.  The next self-study evaluation site visit is scheduled for April 2025.
