Kelly P. Westlake, PhD, MSc, MSc, PT
Kelly P. Westlake is an associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science, and director of the Physical Rehabilitation Science PhD Program within the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She also co-leads the Rehabilitation and Technologies Core of the University of Maryland Claude D. Pepper Center.
Her research focuses on understanding the neuromotor mechanisms that underlie impaired movement and motor learning deficits in aging and age-related neurological conditions. Her lab has a particular emphasis on the mechanisms of impaired balance and gait and the development of innovative rehabilitative solutions.
