Dr. Hynicka is an associate professor of pharmacotherapy at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. She served as a clinical pharmacy specialist on a general internal medicine team at the University of Maryland Medical Center for six years before transitioning into her current role where she manages the treatment of HCV patients in an ambulatory care clinic.

Hynicka became interested in integrative medicine modalities to address health care needs from a whole patient perspective. She participated in the Integrative Medicine Intensive offered by the School of medicine during 2016 and 2017 and completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training through Yoga Works in the summer of 2018.  She currently offers two elective courses in these areas.
