Stuart Weston, PhD
Stuart Weston, PhD, is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, working in the lab of Matthew Frieman, PhD, since November 2016.
The lab has a research focus on coronaviruses and influenza, working on various projects for antiviral development and vaccines along with understanding viral pathogenesis.
Weston received his PhD in 2016 from the Medical Research Council Laboratory for Molecular Cell Biology at University College London, where he worked in the lab of Mark Marsh studying a family of immune proteins that inhibit viral entry into cells.
