Quick Response, No Injuries After Incident at West Lombard and Penn Streets

Dear UMB Community:

Today at about 3:20 p.m., University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) Police responded to a report of a man waving a knife near West Lombard Street and Penn Street. When police arrived, they quickly recovered the knife and arrested the suspect. No one was hurt. Because of the quick action by our police officers and our partners at the University of Maryland Medical Center, there is no increased threat to our UMB community. Learn more about how we send public safety information
