I am pleased to announce that the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) has commenced a national search for the next dean of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy (UMSOP). The new dean will succeed Natalie D. Eddington, PhD, FAAPS, FCP, who is stepping down from her position.

Judy L. Postmus, PhD, ACSW, dean and professor of the University of Maryland School of Social Work, is chairing the search committee with James E. Polli, PhD, the Ralph F. Shangraw/Noxell Endowed Professor in Industrial Pharmacy and Pharmaceutics, as vice chair. The members of the search committee are listed below. The firm Korn Ferry will assist the committee in the national search.
