Dear UMB Community,

It's a joyous time as we celebrate the University of Maryland, Baltimore's (UMB) Class of 2024! This week, graduates will celebrate their achievements, reflect on their growth, and embrace the journey ahead. I know that the Class of 2024 is ready to do the work we have prepared them to do: improve the human condition and serve the public good.

The video below celebrates some of the nearly 1,800 students who will be honored at graduation ceremonies this week across UMB’s seven schools. I’m grateful to everyone who has supported our graduates including their friends and families, and the faculty and staff at UMB. I hope that you'll extend a warm welcome to the many visitors who are here to celebrate with them.
