UMB Shuttle and Safe Ride Riders:
Thank you for your continued patience and support for the UMB Shuttle and Safe Ride. As we said earlier, we heard your concerns with our original plan. UMB is continuing to evaluate and associate cost with a new option that should overall elevate services levels while attempting to hold cost increases down. We engaged the services of an AI consultant who helped us factor many variables and goals simultaneously into the equation, most married to qualitative or quantitative data or both. We are finalizing a thorough review of the data and making final refinements before presenting the operational plan for the UMB Shuttle and Safe Ride services. I do want to set expectation…there was no optimal solution that will satisfy each individual’s desire. We hope to be able to share results with you in Spring.
