Core Values Champions

At UMB, we are committed to upholding our Core Values, and we recognize that the actions of our employees are what bring these values to life. The Core Values Champions initiative celebrates staff members who exemplify our shared commitment to Respect and Integrity, Well-Being and Sustainability, Equity and Justice, and Innovation and Discovery.

Each month, a Core Values Champion will be selected for their dedication to these principles, inspiring others and strengthening the culture of excellence at our university.

The Core Values Champions are individuals who consistently go above and beyond, setting an example through their actions and making a meaningful impact within the university and beyond. Nominated by their colleagues or supervisors, these Champions demonstrate what it means to embody our values in all they do. Their achievements are celebrated monthly, serving as a reminder of the powerful role each of us plays in creating a supportive, ethical, and forward-thinking community.
