In her role at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Chanise Reese-Queen directs Continuing Medical Education (CME) program operations, serves as the primary point of contact for the learning management system, assists faculty and staff with designing CME educational activities, and ensures adherence to the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) regulatory guidelines.

Additionally, Reese-Queen serves in a volunteer leadership role president of the Mid-Atlantic Alliance for Continuing Medical Education, where she and the president oversee the organization’s day-to-day operations. Reese-Queen also serves as an ACCME surveyor and the chair for the Diversity, Inclusion, and Access Committee for the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Profession.

Reese-Queen has over 20 years of experience in developing and managing professional development programs in organizational leadership and management. The focus of her career has involved directing, leading, and managing continuing education and volunteer leadership programs, facilitating special projects and strategic planning initiatives, spearheading events and conferences, and managing staff and teams in the nonprofit and academic sectors.

Reese-Queen holds a doctoral degree in educational leadership and management, a master’s degree in administration with a concentration in public and community health, a bachelor’s degree in human relations, and a graduate certificate in learning design and technology.

She is passionate about education and committed to lifelong learning She is an avid reader and enjoys revising résumés, editing papers, mentoring, and coaching women in discovering their infinite potential while embracing their authentic selves.
