Megan Bailey has over 18 years of experience in the health care industry.

She began her career with Ventana Medical Systems, whose patient-focused mission to improve cancer diagnostics globally ignited her passion for oncology. Following Roche Diagnostics’ acquisition of Ventana, Bailey spent the next 10 years progressing through multiple sales and marketing leadership roles, including her last as senior director of commercial operations, leading sales organizations across four divisions addressing multiple disease states and market segments.

Bailey joined Personal Genome Diagnostics (PGDx) in March 2018 as the vice president of marketing to help build and deliver a strategy aimed at transforming cancer care through delivery of innovative genomic testing into the local setting, enabling patients to fight their battle in a more informed, targeted way. She was promoted to chief commercial officer, leading the company’s marketing, sales, and customer support teams, and in April 2020 was appointed chief executive officer and member of the PGDx Board of Directors. Bailey leads the company with a deep understanding of cancer diagnostics and the impact personalized testing and treatment have on outcomes for patients and their families.

Bailey is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and earned her Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She joined the University of Maryland Baltimore Foundation, Inc. Board of Trustees in 2020.
