Since its inception, USAD has been vocal in articulating and working to gain support for addressing the concerns of students of African descent attending UMB. The organization interacts with the University and Baltimore communities to achieve its mission of providing educational, cultural, and social programs for its members and all others who venture out and attend the organization's educational and social programs.
