Students: Apply for Provost's Global Scholar Program for Stipend Support for Global Experiences

Applications are now open for the Provost's Global Scholar Program, which provides an opportunity for UMB students to engage in a global health, law, or social work experience of their own choosing and design with the support of a $2,000 stipend.

The Office of Global Health at the School of Nursing is offering global field experiences for undergraduate and graduate students in July 2025. A group will travel to Costa Rica in June and a second group will travel to Nigeria in July.

The President’s Global Impact Fund (PGIF) provides faculty with initial support for transformative initiatives that develop international collaborations and enhance UMB's global engagement and reach.

The Alicia and Yaya Initiative in Global Aging Research is accepting applications for its Fellowship Program to Costa Rica through Jan. 15. All current UMB or University of Costa Rica faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students are eligible to apply.
