Spring Online Adventures

This spring we will be creating some online adventures for you.  We will be bringing you escape rooms, explorations and more.  

Adventures are open to everyone.  You don’t have to be a UMB student to test your skills or explore and learn.  UMB students who successfully complete an adventure will be entered into a raffle to win a $50 Starbucks card. So if you complete all five adventures (be sure to submit the form that is built into each adventure) you will be entered into the drawing five times which means better chances to win that $50 gift card!  You will also learn more about URecFit and Wellness!  However please note incentives and gift card will be distributed once we re-open, as we cannot mail them.

 

January 2021 Escape Room ▾

You are trapped in a virtual Zoom background.  You need to figure out the special phrase to get out.  Do you have what it takes to get out?

February 2021 Explore and Learn ▾

This month I am going to explore, learn about and celebrate Black History Month.  It is important to learn about racism, privilege and bias.  We all need to address inequity.  I hope you join me.

 

 

March 2021 - March Maryland Food Madness ▾

Selection Sunday is almost here.  The brackets will be announced, which means March Madness is here.  So let the games begin.  My team and I, URecFit and Wellness, thought we would create our very own March Madness bracket of our top 16 favorite Maryland foods.  

You don’t have to like basketball to take part in our March Maryland Food Madness.  You just need to submit your vote weekly on which foods you prefer.

 

 

April/May - Stressbusters Online Escape Adventure ▾

Happy Spring!  We are back with another escape room like adventure to help relieve stress and anxiety associated with final exams.  Please be sure to check out all events and programs being offered during stressbusters.

We are raffling off prizes each day of Stressbusters from April 26-30, 2021. You can be entered into the daily raffle by attending an event for at least 45 minutes or engaging with social media by follow @UMBStudentAffairs. Only UMB students are eligible to win a raffle item but events are open to everyone.

Also, completion of this Stressbuster online adventure earns you double entry into the raffle drawing for the $50 Starbucks card.
